Kings & Rebels was founded by Marcela Acosta and Jan Tropberger, who started their entrepreneurial journey together with their marriage in 2016. The founders previously lived and worked at various locations around the world.
Shortly after their son Lucas was born, they realized how awkward traditional baby socks and shoes can be, and Marcela began making her own baby booties, which are not only more practical and conducive to natural baby foot development, but also look great and can be made in a variety of materials and stylish colors. The brand quickly became so popular that they decided to invest in their own factory in Colombia and expand internationally. All products are manufactured in-house to create sustainable jobs and to guarantee environmentally friendly production.
